Rachel Mercier (she/her/hers)

Academic Advisor
mercie36@msu.edu

Rachel Mercier is an academic advisor who is passionate about supporting students as they grow, explore, and achieve their goals throughout their college experience. She takes great pride in helping students navigate their academic journey and find their path with confidence and purpose. Rachel earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. As an undergraduate college student, one of her favorite parts of her undergraduate experience was meeting new people and discovering the sense of freedom and possibility that college can offer. These experiences continue to shape her approach to advising, which is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and a deep respect for each student’s unique journey.
