My favorite part about being an advisor is helping students explore their educational and career goals to find a path that best suits their unique sets of interests and experience.
With such a large campus it's hard to pick a single spot as my favorite, but I really love the whole farmland and wooded area south of campus because it reminds me of home. A highlight there is the MSU Student Organic Farm, in part because they have an adorable farm cat there named Trout!
I received my B.S. at Central Michigan University with majors in both International Relations and German, and a minor in History. I completed my M.A. in Student Affairs Administration at MSU in 2024. I have also spent a couple of years studying at Erfurt University in Germany, and Capital Normal University in Beijing, China.
My old summer job for many years during high school and college was working at Kilwins of Ludington, MI, where I was in charge of making all of the fudge, caramel apples, caramel corns, brittles, and other sweets.
