Where did you go to college/university?

I am a transfer student. I started my college journey at Los Angeles Valley College before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley. After earning my B.A. in Sociology at UC Berkeley, I earned my M.A. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from the University of California, Los Angeles. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education here at MSU.

What is your favorite spot on campus (and why)?

I enjoy being by the river. There's something about flowing water that brings me peace.

What was your favorite part about being an undergraduate yourself?

While being a student comes with its own sets of responsibilities. I enjoyed the relative freedom I had. College was a time to explore and really get to know myself.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I have two dogs that I adore dearly.
