Dear Advisors,

Thank you for everything you have done over the past week to help ensure that our students remain supported during this difficult time. I know you are often the first people students turn to when they have questions, so I want to provide you with tools and resources to help you feel confident in your responses to them. Below, please find updated information about how credit-no credit (CR-NC) reporting will work this semester.

CR-NC grade reporting option

Effective spring semester 2023 only, the time during which a student can choose CR-NC for their courses has been extended to the end of spring semester. Students will be able to review their posted spring 2023 course grades beginning May 10, 2023, and will have until 11:59 p.m. (EST) May 17, 2023, to select the CR-NC grade reporting option. Undergraduates may use this option for any 100- to 400-level course.

CR-NC FAQs

CR-NC frequently asked questions are on the advising website. These will continue to develop over time, as new questions arise.

Thank you again for your dedication in supporting our students while we all also work through our own grieving process. Please continue to show compassion and kindness toward each other in the days ahead.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
