In addition to the resources shared on this website, connect with us by joining our Teams channel (coming soon), subscribing to the Adviser Listserv for emails and newsletters, or reaching out via our general email account. We’re here to support you!
Housed within the Office of Undergraduate Education, our team—Dr. Q and Katie Peterson—is committed to supporting undergraduate academic advisors through comprehensive training and professional growth opportunities. Each year, we are joined by two full-time academic advisors who serve as Advising Fellows. These fellows play a vital role in enhancing professional development efforts and strengthening engagement within the advising community.
From onboarding new advisors to delivering systems training and hosting networking events, we are committed to:
Design and implement professional development programs for advising staff.
Foster collaboration with other institutional departments and stakeholders.
Identify potential career opportunities or advancements.
Gain insights into industry trends and best practices.
Foster innovation in advising approaches and services.
Advocate for the importance and impact of academic advising within the institution.
We’re happy to help—reach out anytime with questions or concerns.
