Olivia Guy
Olivia Guy is an academic advisor at MSU. Olivia enjoys teaching and learning, and studied and lived in Michigan and Germany. Olivia loves traveling, reading, music, art, and spending time with friends and family.
In college I won a poetry contest at my school, and with the cash prize I was able to take a trip to Amsterdam!
One of my favorite advice quotes by Dr. Seuss is, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not!" It's important to remember that sometimes change doesn't just happen to us, but rather we need to be the change.
I got my BA from Albion College in German and Education, and while I was there, I did a semester abroad in Heidelberg Germany! From there, I did my MA at Michigan State.
My favorite spot on campus is the cement overlook on the Red Cedar by Wells Hall. It's very peaceful, and at times you can see some great wildlife there.
